I need a project

This long weekend will be raining :( My friends are all still studying so are working away in prep for their exams. A is on call and shopping is not an option as we are in house saving mode. I need a project.
 I have a sweet writing desk which I want to paint but worry about doing that inside!

Long Weekend

The long weekend is coming up for me which is always nice!
Sadly it is going to rain and rain and rain!
I think im going to need a rain coat if I want to get out and about!

I love my beautiful old bike Lady, and i didn't want to part with her!
We have limited space and keeping her wasn't an option, so my mum has taken her in and used her as shop display. Sooo pretty!

Happy Sunday Breakfast

Sunday was cold, but the sun was beautiful. We only managed a small ride down to the shops to get some much needed breaky supplies!

We used to do Sunday breaky all the time, but life catches up and we haven't in ages. I forgot how much I loved it!

I made a fruit salad, as it is winter i just had banana, apple pear and strawberries with some passion fruit and fresh mint from the garden. 

Some delicious avocado on toast with pepper and some natural yogurt! YUUUUMMMM! 

Proof the the sun was actually shining in out courtyard! 

A made bacon and eggs all by himself, with no supervision! This is a big deal! Also with avocado, we are big fans! It replaces butter and is added to most things!

Warm Pie for a Cold Night

Last night I decided a pie was needed to warm us from the inside out!
I didn't follow a recipe because I couldn't find one online that I liked. Lots had a huge amount of tomato and BBQ sauce to flavour which has soo much sugar and salt!

I almost forgot the zuccini!

 I had a huge amount of filling so I made a big pie for the weekend, the medium pie for dinner and lunch for me the next day and the baby pie below for A to take to work. He appreciates a good lunch!

I have a bundle of cookie cutters that are mostly christmas themed but the ginger bread man was most appropriate.

The pie was delicious and is always better the next day too! xx

Cirque Du Soleil

Last night I went to see Cirque du Soleil's Saltimbanco with my friend N for her birthday.
I think i'm one of the few who hasn't been but loved every minute.

Of course I thoroughly enjoyed the man doing tricks on his sweet yellow bike but I was most captivated by the coloured worms!

My friend N scored us amazing seats on the first level right in the middle so we could see all the action! 

I am keen to see other shows now! A has already seen a few. 

If i go missing, i may be running away to the circus!
