Pink is my favorite colour! A classic bicycle in bink would be delicious. The Pashley poppy is a sweet colour, but I like the more traditional curved handle bars!  

Papillionaire

These papillionaire bikes sure look pretty...

They come in a few different colours and can be found here.

They are a budget way to hit the streets in style. They start at $499 for a basic bike and then you can get a few more bits and pieces like a leather saddle and grips for a bit more. 

I ventured out this weekend to a few different bike shops in Melbourne, Papillionaire now have a place where you can check out the bikes for a test ride. It was a nice ride and pretty but not exactly what im looking for. The guy in the shop did mention that they are looking into some new colours which is exciting as there are millions of red bikes out there. I'm thinking something a bit different as my current ride is bright yellow!

Safety First

 Helmets a must in a Australia or beware of a hefty fine ($149)!
I'm sure there are standards but my current helmet from vietnam which is the thickness of an ice-cream container probably wont cut it! I will eventually post some pics!

This baby is a horse riding helmet, I think I should do the job and is so so pretty!

Pashley stole my heart.

Pashley is one of the big players in classic bicycles for a good reason. They are beautiful bikes!
This is the sleek black version but I am very partial to the Regency Green Princess Sovereign!

The search is on...

I have a lovely old bike. Her name is Lady. As much as I love her she is a bit tricky to ride, a bit rickety and doesn't cope with the hills despite her 10 speed gears! 

So the search is on for a new bike!
