To comment or not to comment?
I had an email from a reader asking why I had comments turned off.
Simply, I thought no one read my blog or wanted to comment.
But after finding the stats information from blogger, I realised people were reading my blog! THANKS!
I started blogging in order to learn how to blog so I could teach my mum who has a shop. Every time I find something new or interesting I let her know. I'm still learning the fine art of blogging and like to put my ideas in one place.
I have started to really enjoy blogging. It makes me think about things I do a lot more and appreciate the simpler things in life.

Winner Winters Afternoon
This morning it looked pretty sad.
But it cleared up and the afternoon was amazing.
I had a massive cup of tea with my sister sitting out the back in the sun.
As soon as A got home I pounced as it is a perfect night for a ride and we hadn't been in ages.
We went down to the river track and decided to do a lap of the time trial track that was put in for the big bike race last year. This ride was an exercise ride not a slow meandering along the river in clogs and a pretty dress like usual!
The track is a 2.2km smooth track.
There are some sweet old industrial buildings along the river.
The moon was up super early!
It felt like we stopped waiting for the train forever, but it did give us a chance to catch our breath before the hill home.

Running late
Yesterday morning I was up bright and early and on my way to work.
I always drive along the waterfront as it is soo beautiful even though it probably takes me longer.
This morning it was stunning with the sun peaking out of the clouds.
I felt the need to stop and take some photo's which then made me a little late to work!
The quality isn't the best but I took them on my iphone in a hurry. I love the clouds in the last one.
It did make me wonder if I should carry my digital camera around. It is just a canon point and shoot, nothing fancy as I am no photographer. Although I would like to learn.

Sneaky Sun
The sun managed to peek out of the clouds today! Hooray! I have needed to get out, I have been going batty inside. So off to the shops with Poppy for some retail therapy!
On the way home I stopped off a the cute little gardens near our house, some sweet purple flowers caught my eye.

Lazy Long Weekend
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! I'm feeling particularly refreshed after three days off.
I didn't get up to too much with the poor weather and A busy on cal I didn't stray too far away form home.
I spent a bit of time in the shop with mumsie keeping her company. It was fairly busy. I got two new mini bee bowls and a set of yellow salad servers that match my bee cutlery. I was going to grab another set of cutlery as a set of six never seems to be enough, but left it over the weekend and it sold, so I will just have to wait til the next order comes in.
I did spend a reasonable amont of time lounging in this chair...
Lady has been getting a lot of interest in the window of the shop from people wanting to buy her! I'm just not so sure I want to sell. She is looking hot with a basket full of flowers and a sweet leather travel bag on the back, I love those bags!

I also did some shopping :{ I know I was supposed to be trying to save but I got a leather pair of boots, a silk dress, a marino wool top and a grey skirt for work for $200. I love sale time!
